Breaking the ICE

Everyone remembers the first day at their new job. Numerous trivial thoughts pass through your mind the evening before; What do I wear? Do I take lunch? Will I get on with my new colleagues? On the morning of my first day at ICE in April 2018, my thoughts were centred firmly around making a good impression in my new role (despite the butterflies violently hurtling around my insides). Thanks to the friendly bunch that make up the ICE team, it is now a rather calmer experience walking through the door of our charming office just outside of the centre of Winchester, into a buzzing creative agency.

In my 3 short months at ICE, I’ve been working within the well-oiled machine that is the account management team. Efficient, perceptive and patient people have made the role enjoyable and straightforward to slip into. It’s clear that the relationships between clients and the accounts team are not only collaborative, but refreshingly sincere. I have had the pleasure of working with great clients such as LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, Animed Direct, Winchester Distillery and Walnut Unlimited; all of whom have come to ICE with an enthusiastic approach to achieving the best results.

Moving into the creative agency world has been a whirlwind education in 3D Visualisation, Brand creation, Augmented Reality and website design. Extensive blog reading (I would thoroughly recommend Mashable’s Tech page!) and endless questions posed to my unsuspecting, yet insightful colleagues has provided me with a new appreciation for the fast-developing digital and creative world.

The team at ICE are passionate, resourceful, bright; I could go on. These qualities not only make The ICE Agency great to work for, but also to work with. Thanks to the team for making my first few months a hoot; here’s to many more!
